Oh Brother!

What memories were brought back to me tonight when Brennan came downstairs wearing this...

a dress, a scarf, make up and let's not forget the bow. I was reminded of the days when my sisters and I would dress my brother up in all our girly clothes. Ella was laughing hysterically upstairs and I knew I better grab my camera. I was waiting at the bottom of the stairs. It seemed like they were taking FOREVER and I asked them to hurry. Ella told me, "Just a minute. I just need to finish the touch!" A few minutes later here they come. Ella tried to show Brennan how to pose. He snapped, "I can do my own pose!" May I present to you...
Brennan...the only brother in the family...striking his own poses. And thanks to my sisters' suggestion and hard work finding this picture of my brother from the good old days and thanks to Chelle for scanning it for me. That way, we can embarrass Aaron just a tad.

Just as you said...Never a dull moment! At first I thought it was Ella!

Hilarious. Isn't it funny how history repeats itself? Aaron will love seeing this. Good blackmail material for Anna and Ella in a few years. Brennan's poses are a testimonial to the fact that boys and girls are put together differently from the get-go. Fun stuff. The beauty of a blog is that you are always on the lookout for material and I believe that very effort helps us to recognize, embrace and remember the priceless riches in our life and our lives are greatly enhanced by it. Keep up the good work!

You've got to find Aaron's picture and put it up here with Brennan. I remember how MAD dad got when he came home and found we had put makeup on Aaron and painted his fingernails. It's only fair in exchange for all the "little brother" moments older sisters live through! ; )

Don't think I haven't already thought of scanning a picture of Aaron to put on this post. If I had the picture and the scanner plugged in...it would have already happened. But I did leave off the part where Grandpa used to ask us, "Where's that sissy boy with the frilly panties!?!"

I didn't remember your Dad getting mad when he saw Aaron "dressed up". So we ought to find the picture of YOUR DAD when you girls made HIM up oh so pretty. Reading all your blogs is the high point of my day, so keep up the good work. How fun is this!
