Catching Up

My friend, Mechiel, sent me a text the other day asking me if I'm ever going to update my blog, or am I going to start over. Notice she didn't give me the option of discontinuing my blog completely...smart woman. I explained to her that it's been so long since I've blogged that I don't even know where to start. So many things have happened since I became negligent on my blogging. Her answer was plain and simple. "Start now."

Most of you know already, but I remarried on January 15, 2011. Mike and I began dating in April of last year. It didn't take us long to realize that we wanted to be together. On December 20, Mike and I sat the kids down and talked to them about what we were wanting to do. Mike, was very sweet as he explained to the kids how much he loved them and me. He said he wanted to marry me. The kids were so excited. Even Anna, who is enough like me for most of you to understand why that's unusual for her to show excitement. After that, I looked at Mike, and I looked at the kids and said, "Well there's one problem." You should have seen the look on Mike's face! Hilarious! Anna yelled, "What!?" I said, "Actually Mike hasn't even asked me." Mike quickly went into the other room and came back, kneeled in front of me and the kids, and asked me to marry him. Of course you know my answer...
