How can it be that my first born is already in the third grade? It's something I have to keep reminding myself. The only picture I got was one with her teacher, Mrs. Carpenter. I know it looks like Anna is a really big third grader or that her teacher looks like just another third grader, but it really is the teacher. Once again, Anna has been blessed with a super, sweet, talented teacher. Now if I could only get her to enjoy reading! I told her one time, "You know...I think you don't like reading just to spite me because I'm a reading teacher." Anna said, with a voice of surprise, "Mom! I didn't even know you were a reading teacher until just now!"

Anna's First Day of Third Grade

Beautiful communication! Could it be that Banana's focus is elsewhere?! I bet if animals could read, she'd be all over it like white on rice.
