I-YI-IKE!!

Today marks day 12 that we've been without electricity. Thankfully that is the worst damage that was done to our house. There were lots of branches in the yard, but some "elves" must have cleaned them all up before I even got back from our evacuation (thanks Cal, Chey & Ci). We spent some of our evacuation time with my mom's cousin and his wife in Lancaster, which is near Dallas. After that we spent another couple of days with the Rozas. Finally we made it back to LJ and stayed with my mom. My uncle let my mom borrow a generator that kept us from melting completely as we waited for power to be restored. Mom got power late last night, but lost phone service and her a/c wouldn't work. Today I got power and it couldn't have come a moment sooner. Life is good again.
