Kids Say...

It appears that we have a raccoon problem. Each night now, we have to take the cat food into the house before it gets dark, otherwise it's gone the instant night sets in. Last night, while getting ready for bed, Brennan said, "Mom, I wish I could pet a raccoon. Don't you wish you could pet a raccoon?" I explained, "You can't do that because raccoons are wild, and they would bite you." After hesitating just a moment he replied, "Well I wish raccoons would not be wild...but they are right now...maybe later."

Last night Ella said something pretty cute too. My mom had company coming to her house. They are the same couple that we stayed with in Lancaster during Hurricane Ike. Ella became very fond of her nana's cousins. So after I told her that Jynnifer & LG were coming to Nana's house ella said, "My heart is singing."

Out of all the blog entries I read, I think the ones that I love most are the ones that share the kid conversations and perspectives. Priceless!
